My name is Bakari Turner... and I was born in Saginaw Michigan. I've been locked up in prison since the age of 19.I always had this fascination with art and it's beauty and how it catches peoples imagination. Creating art is just like having a spiritual experience!!! It takes you to unbelievable places..... it touches parts of you that you never knew existed....... you can express yourself deep down from the core of your heart. Art is so amazing just like music it gives you so many different feelings and points of view. Art taught me how to be vulnerable and how to look at life from a moral prospective. To be true and honest with myself!!!That's why I always say live your truth!!!!!!
