Being born and raised in the tristate area has been pivotal towards my perception on what "art" means to me. growing up, my environment was riddled with graffiti and street art. I loved how music , culture, cuisine and creativity, in general, could always express in ways words never could describe. It was always never stop imagining. It was always dream big. Anything that was considered "blank" , was simply a canvas to be.

As a child I was obsessed with toon anime and from there my influence was drawn from animal realism. After my father lost custody of my older brother and I , I became spiteful and stopped drawing to chase my own dream, which was creating music. I was only until my entry to " The System" and lack of entertainment that led me to start drawing again. Mainly, to send cards and pictures to my mother and my son. I wanted them to know I loved them and missed them beyond words. So, I'd send them artwork that depicted these feelings. When I came too prison I continued honing my craft. Slowly but surely. I started doing portraits and birthday cards for ppl that requested and showed interest in what I could make for them and their loved ones.

I even did stencils for people's tattoos, which made me a bit more confident that I was doing the right thing.

After mustering enough courage to take a new medium , painting, a friend of mine convinced me to try my hand in the SPL program , May of 2022. It was love at first prime, haha. I could draw whatever I pleased and bring dimensions to life with color, layers and patience. I was hooked.

Most recently, my piece titled " For The She-Shed " was displayed , for my 1st time, in an art gallery during the "Juried Showcase " event  , Feb of 2023 at the FoundryVineyard in Walla Walla, WA.

I could tell you that my style is versitle, ever-changing, contemporary, abstract, realism and even impromptu (at times) but, truth is, I'd much rather you determine that for yourself. My goal is to evoke those special emotions and feelings inside of each and everyone of us that are beyond the physical realm that last a lifetime.
