  I came to prison with a long sentence. Started out with very little outside support. I knew I needed to find a way to take care of myself an support myself. I have always loved art but had no skill or know how in making it myself. Like a lot of guys coming into prison I continued to get into trouble when I first got here. I spent many years in IMU or hole. During this time I had four walls an myself. Working through my issues an deal with my guilt an shame an find a way through. Art has saved my life. During my time in IMU I was able to start drawing an taught myself how to draw with a flex pen. While there I dreamed of getting out of the hole an getting a job an being able to buy art supplies. Once out that's exactly what iv done. I have learned this amazing skill or talent an I spend most of my day making art. My hope is that other people see my art an it brings them the same happiness that it brings me. My goal is to be able to make some kind of a living to help support myself an take the burden from my family. I thank you for your time an hope you enjoy my artwork.
