Hello my name is John Bale, I'm a African American who was born in Seattle, Washington in the great abstract art year of 1983. I first fell in love with abstract art when I was visiting a beautiful memorable art museum on Bainbridge Island. When I viewed all the blended beautiful colours of the world in the art museum, I was instantly inspired. It took me to a place of pure happiness! I also recall the moment how I felt when I stood for tens of minutes viewing each piece that was beautiful and colourfully crafted, I felt a calming sense of something better than myself. Art has affected me so positively and spiritually that I dedicate and want is to share my colourful abstract art with the world. I hope my art will inspire and give you the feeling I had when I viewed my first art through a clean and clear lens of this world.

---JOHN BALE'S CASE ---
Hello- my name is John M. Bale, I'm currently incarcerated for 30years in a U.S. prison. I was falsely accused and convicted of two counts of assault against two police officers in 2012, when no officer was hurt or harmed. I fell victim to the United States police racial profiling and illegal detention when I had committed no crime, just looking suspicious.

I want to share my story with the world and let the world know racial profiling in the United States of America is real. I've been fighting the U.S.A system day after day for justice and for my freedom back. I wish to use my art for justice and to gain my freedom back. I ask that you please take the time and review my art and consider purchasing some of it for a just and noble cause.

---ARTIST'S NOTES---
Sometimes we artists find it difficult to convey our message through our art. I am going to do my best to change our art culture by providing my viewers with a brief expression of the piece. When I create abstract art, I want you, the viewer to visualize each emotion I felt with every artistic piece I create. Today I proudly stand up as an African American artist who wants to express my positive feelings and thoughts through my art. You may have a feeling in life, as we all do of uneasiness, sadness, or uncertainty. Though I hope my art will inspire and give you hope in a time of need and by doing so, we can both help change our world with a bit more joy, happiness, calmness and peace!

Best wishes,
-John Bale

(Please note that John is currently undergoing an appeal to prove his innocence. All proceeds from Johns art will be to fund his complex legal battle)
